Registration Information
The Journal “Nauchniye Trudy Sankt-Peterburgskoi Akademii Hudozhestv” (“Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts”) is published quarterly according to the decision of the Editorial and Publishing Council of St Petersburg Repin Academy of Fine Arts. The Journal is included into the List of the main reviewed scientific editions, in which basic scientific results of PhD theses must be published, according to the decision of the Higher Certification Commission at the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation dating 08.02.2023. The Journal is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Mass Communications, Telecom and Cultural Heritage Preservation. Registration certificate: ПИ № ФС77-80275 of 09.02.2021. The collection of essays is distributed via the Ural-Press Agency catalogue.

The Editorial Ethics Statement of the Scientific Journal “Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts”
The Editorial Ethics Statement of the Scientific Journal “Nauchniye Trudy Sankt-Peterburgskoi Akademii Hudozhestv” (“Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts”) is a set of rules and principles providing for a fair and objective review process, independent of commercial interests and conjuncture needs.
1. General provisions 1.1. The editorial policy of the Journal is based on the traditional ethical principles of Russian academic periodicals. In its work, the Editorial and Publishing Council focuses on the modern legal requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in relation to copyright, plagiarism and ethical principles supported by the community of leading publishers of academic periodicals, and is responsible for the publication of copyrighted works. In its activities, the Editorial and Publishing Council is also guided by the Regulations on the Editorial and Publishing Council. The editorial policy of the Journal “Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts” follows the recommendations of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). 1.2 The publishing house undertakes obligations to supervise scientific materials and is aware of the responsibility for their proper presentation, especially from the point of view of ethical aspects of publications.
2. Ethical principles and responsibilities of the Editorial and Publishing Council
2.1. The compilers of the issues of the scientific Journal “Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts” are responsible for making a decision on publication. The decision to publish is based on the reliability, scientific significance, novelty and objectivity of the work. The compilers of the issues may consult with the editor-in-chief and reviewers during the decision on publication. 2.2. The compilers of the issues evaluate the content of the manuscripts regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious views, origin, citizenship or political preferences of the Authors. 2.3. The Editorial and Publishing Council of the scientific Journal “Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts” does not disclose information about the accepted manuscript unnecessarily (with the exception of Authors, Reviewers, possible Reviewers, other Scientific Consultants). 2.4. Disclosure Policy and Conflicts of Interest 1) The Editorial and Publishing Council undertakes not to use unpublished data obtained from submitted manuscripts in personal research without the written consent of the Author. 2) In case of conflicts of interest due to competitive, cooperative and other interactions and relationships with Authors, companies and possibly other organizations related to the manuscript, the compilers of the issues should recuse themselves from reviewing the manuscripts (namely, to request the Editor-in-Chief or cooperate with other members of the Editorial and Publishing Council when reviewing the work instead of personally making a decision).
3. Ethical principles and responsibilities of Reviewers 3.1. Reviewing helps the Compilers to make a decision about publication, and can also help the Author to improve the quality of the work. 3.2. Reviewing is carried out by a recognized expert on the subject of reviewed materials who has published works on the subject of the reviewed article within the last 3 years. If the Reviewer feels a lack of qualifications to review the manuscript or does not have enough time to complete the work in the agreed period, he should notify the Compiler of the issue of the scientific Journal “Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts”, and ask him to be excluded from the review process of the corresponding manuscript. 3.3. Any manuscript received for review should be treated as a confidential document. The Editorial and Publishing Council of the scientific Journal “Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts” adheres to the principles of double-blind peer review. 3.4. The reviewer is obliged to give an objective assessment. Reviewers should express their opinions clearly and reasonably. The reviewer should not participate in the review of the manuscript in case of a conflict of interest. The reviewer should not allow the inconsistency of the author's position with his own scientific views to influence the content of the review. The review should be presented in a correct form and should not contain statements and comments that humiliate the human dignity of the author. 3.5. The reviewer may not use Unpublished data obtained from the submitted manuscripts in personal research. Information or ideas obtained during the review and related to possible benefits should be kept confidential and not used for personal gain.
4. Ethical principles and responsibilities of Authors 4.1. The article submitted to the Journal should be a completed scientific research and have novelty. 4.2. The article submitted to the Journal must be a completely original work, in case of using the works of other Authors, it must contain appropriate bibliographic references. Plagiarism is unacceptable. 4.3. Articles containing less than 75% of the original text, as well as articles in which a previously published result is re-presented, are not published. Articles sent for publication to other journals are also not published. 4.4. The author is responsible for the content of the article. 4.5. All research participants should be aware of the publication of the article and indicated as co-authors, or separately mentioned. 4.6. In case of acceptance of the manuscript for publication, the author signs the License Agreement and is responsible for its compliance. The author guarantees that given rights do not violate the rights of other persons or organizations. 4.7. The author is obliged to show respect when interacting with the Editorial and Publishing Council, to respond to the requirements of the Editorial and Publishing Council and evaluation of the reviewers politely.
5. Open Access Policy The scientific Journal “Scientific Papers of St Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts” provides access to the full texts of scientific articles on the Internet immediately after their publication (as well as to all archival materials – issues of previous years) through the website https://www.elibrary.ru /: the content is open for reading, downloading, copying, distributing, printing. Users are required to provide a full link or reference to the article used. There is no charge for use.
